Each bottle tells a story of terroir, resilience and the gentle art of patience. Made with indigenous yeast, matured in neutral French oak, bottled with no fining and only light filtration.
Single-varietal white
Fresh notes of citrus blossom, gooseberry, lemon, nectarine, peach, melon, and fleshy pear. Dried oregano and sage to garnish. The palate is broad yet elegant with stone fruit notes carrying through from the nose. A bright acidity supports and lengthens a dry yet creamy finish.
Single-varietal red
Freshly picked tart cherries, strawberries, raspberries, and red plum are well complimented by a savoury Parma like salinity and roasted cherry tomatoes. A bright and vibrant wine with soft textured, powdery tannins.
Sparkling, zero dosage
Clean mineral lemony freshness. Bruised apple, strawberries and brioche well rounded by a creamy fine-beaded mousse.

Wine Terms
Cap Classique is South Africa's traditional method sparkling wine, made using the same bottle-fermentation technique as Champagne. IL GECO's Cap Classique is a zero-dosage expression, meaning no sugar is added after disgorgement.
Indigenous yeast fermentation uses wild yeast strains naturally present on grape skins and in the cellar, rather than commercially produced yeast. This produces more complex, terroir-driven flavour profiles unique to each vineyard.
Minimal intervention winemaking means allowing the wine to express its terroir with as little manipulation as possible: no enzymes, no commercial additives, no fining agents and only light filtration.
